Meghann Fahy doesn’t want to write off Sutton Brady just yet.
The Bold Type alum revealed what it would take for her to reprise her role on the Freeform series, which ran for five seasons after premiering in 2017.
“It would take nothing,” Meghann exclusively told E! News correspondent Will Marfuggi at the Los Angeles premiere of her new film The Perfect Couple on Sept. 4. “I would do it right now.”
As for the friendships she made with her costars from the New York City-based show? Meghann said they’re still going strong.
“I was texting with Katie [Stevens] this morning,” the 34-year-old continued. “Spoke to Aisha [Dee] yesterday. They’re my sisters. We’re in it for the long haul.”
The Bold Type—which followed Jane (Katie), Kat (Aisha) and Sutton (Meghann) as three millennial women working at the fictional magazine publication Scarlet—was inspired by the life and career of Joanna Coles, a former editor-in-chief of Cosmopolitan.
But it’s not the only time Meghann has formed deep ties with her costars on set. The White Lotus actress—who is now dating costar Leo Woodall—went on to share why it was a dream come true to work with Nicole Kidman on her latest TV series The Perfect Couple, which premiered Sept. 5 on Netflix.
“She’s incredible,” Meghann told E! News of the Big Little Lies star. “Everybody always says don’t meet your heroes, but she’s one of the very rare exceptions where she’s super kind and accessible and thoughtful and engaging and really cares. So, it was like, ‘Oh my god, this is exactly how I hoped she would be.’”
In the series that bears similarities to Meghann’s work on The White Lotus, Nicole portrays Greer Garrison Winbury, a successful novelist and mother to Benji, whose beachside wedding Meghann’s character Merritt Monaco attends. During the festivities, a body is discovered on the beach and the characters’ secrets are unraveled as everyone becomes a suspect in the murder.
“There’s a murder mystery element to both and there’s a wealth element to both and I think it’s a space that’s really fun to play in,” Meghann continued. “That’s one of my favorite genres is just murder mysteries.”
All episodes of The Perfect Couple are streaming now on Netflix.
